A couple of years ago my sister asked me to cosign on a loan so she could go to school. Recently because of a combination of not working enough, a 9 month old baby, and going back to school, she hasn't been able to pay the bill and is really delinquent on the account.
My question is now that they are coming after me how badly will this affect my credit? I can't afford to pay because I have my own bills to worry about. Are there any options to alleviate the affect?
