I was in a car accident friday evening about 7pm just 200yds from my house! I was driving along a main road which I am used too as I drive down it atleast 4 times a day and have done for the past 10 months!
At the end of the road approaching the roundabout there is a public house (owned by the Sizzling Co) with a car park which leads onto the main road.
I am aware of the entrance/exit and am always cautious of it as people zoom out of it without properly waiting as it is quite blind, but on this occasion I did not see anyone creeping and peeping as I sometimes do and react accordingly.
A I was driving past, not seeing anyone, I'm suddenly hit on the passenger side of my car (left side) and totally shocked by it. My door has been pushed up, the arch has been ruined as it forms part of the bumper (Ford KA) and the wheel has been damaged completely. The steering is now incredibly light and the left wheel seems to scrape a lot on full/most lock. It is bad! I've filed a claim and it's his fault, not arguable according to my insurers, what happens after my estimate on tuesday and how does it all work?!
