How does a mechanic's lien get paid in a bankruptcy?

Im trying to do a take home test. Im not trying to get out of doing my work, but I have researched and am stuck.

If a car has a mechanics lien of $2000 on it, and the couple filing for bankruptcy receives around $6000 for federal exemptions, how does the mechanic get paid?
