(jean loves her friend's boyfriend)
He saw Jean sitting on the ground rubbing her ankle, her face scrunching her face. “Jean!” He yelled running to her.
“Let me carry you to Catherine’s room.”
“No don’t!” She moved back.
“You need me Jean.”
She shook her head. “I really don’t, I can take care of myself,” she said forcing a smile.
She tried to stand on one leg but her knee was bruised and still sore. She groaned, “Ouch!”
Johnny caught her in his strong arms. “Let me help you!” He said still holding her up.
Jean wrapped her arms around the back of her neck. Keeping her ankle as motionless as he could he walked toward the door holding her in his thin muscular arms. She felt butterflies, it was hard to shake him from her mind ever since Catherine showed her a picture of him when she lived in California. She looked up at him with half opened eyes and remember the first time they met on the terrace they were both shy and speechless she didn’t expect to see finally see the man Catherine told her about.
