How do you write like a letter into your book?

You know like when your character reads a letter or excerpt from a book what are the proper spacings and indents do you make for that?
Any good websites that help with this stuff??
 
I'm not 100% sure, but I think you use wider margins and block text. Your best bet would be to Google it, because I'm probably horrendously wrong. Good luck :)
