We have a family reunion in august in Texas. Different people had been assigned to write a tribute of on of their family members that have passed on and cant make it. My mother got assigned to write about her sister that dead before I was even born or thought of for that matter. She has asked me to help her but I have know clue how to start or finish a tribute to anyone. Mind you I didn't even know her. Can someone please help me out with a layout of how to put it together to help my mom. Thank so much.

Talk to your mom, and anyone else that knew her. Treat it like you're doing a report on a famous person or historical character.

Take the facts, the bring in the stories that your mom remembers about growing up with her, and then say something about how you wish that you had been able to meet her, and that the family obviously still misses her, because look at the assignment they gave you for this.

Good luck. Your mom wouldn't have asked for your help if you weren't a sensitive and talented young woman.

You can do it!
