Just make sure yo listen to everything that your traher tells you in class and you may even want to look up some extra stuff on the internet for extra marks. Us elong words that make sense and fuent sentences make sure you include the date that certain events happened and why they happened and all the possible details you could possibly cram into one peice of writing but try to make it sound proffesiniol! Good luck

reasons why i cant get high marks
1) my teacher is an asshole who never helps me in my essay planning ive complained to the school but he denies it

2) i had meningitis which kept me out of school for the start of the year so im playing catch up

im also behind on my exam technique so any help for that would mean the world to me thanks

i want to succeed btw because i really want to study journalism in university thank you

the best way to write an essay is to read the question and work out your conclusion first, most people fall down on history essays because they keep switching opinions as they write there argument, if you get your conclusion down first you can word you argument to fit you conclusion it keeps your argument clear and keeps you on track so you are not just rambling.

also remember to support you argument with refrences examiners love to see refrences for sources that are not supplied or used on the course so this means reading around the subject, it may be more work but it puts your essay above the cowd

never mind your teacher, it's you that does the work. fair enough with the meningitus, so I wouldn't expect too much of yourself. but essays (for coursework) and exams require different style. exams: get what you need down, fast, and concise, no frills (unless you have time).
coursework, go a bit deeper, any really anylise stuff. But if you don't enjoy something, and you don't seem to have a flair for it, then it's not practical to expect A grades. all I can say is structure it well, and really think about the subject, giving the essay a flow.
