How do you write a book?

I want to write a book just for fun
Alot of people like my writing and say I have a crazy imagination
I think it'd be cool to write a book because ANYTHING can happen in it!
Every time I go to write a book I can never finish it
How do I stay motivated
And im very impatient lol
