How do you use a Belkin Data Cable with the Samsung Eternity?

I have a Samsung Eternity and I recently bought a data cable from Belkin. When I first plugged it in it said I needed to insert a memory card. So I changed it to Samsung PC Studio, and I downloaded the ACM like it said to. but now I don't know what to do. PLEASE HELP!
