How do you unlock emmett in chrono days sim date?

I heard it was on the 10th day hes comes back, but I'm past the tenth day and hes still not there?

When you first meet him , when he falls and you give him your handkerchief ,and he asks you what he'd do about it , don't tell him to keep it , but choose the other answer which is , I think :''How are you going to give it back if your leaving ?'' With that he'll come at the 10th day to keep his promise to give it back to you
