How do you turn off the pre flash on a Fugi FinePix A900 camera?

I have a Fujifilm FinePix A900 and I love it but there is one big problem, I blink every time a picture is taken. I’ve tried taking a picture in every setting on the camera and I blink every time. Can someone tell me which setting to use? I have read about turning off pre-flashes or flashes intended for red-eye reduction, can you do this with my camera? If so, how do I do it? I don’t want to get a new camera, but if I have to what does it need to have in order for me not to blink/what setting? How can I tell if a camera has pre-flashes or not?
