We have 2 Shepherd puppies (sisters) that we would like to train to live outside. They have an insulated dog house and a heated garage they can sleep in if the weather is poor. We get the puppies next week and I'm hoping for some advice from other dog owners who have dogs that live outside. We live in the country with lots and lots of property for the dogs. I was wondering if it would be best to keep them inside for the first month to bond with my husband, myself and our 12 month old son.
I might be lenient to allowing them to sleep in our room at night, but I don't want them to be inside dogs.
