OK, i have been doing some serious research on how to bleach my hair. i think iv'e got it down. i have some SPECIFIC questions i need answered. I do not have enough money to go to salon's and i have been dying my hair myself since i was a kid just never bleached it. always dyed my hair dark.
I just stripped all the black out,got it cut ,and super conditioned it. so i am ready to go PLATINUM!!!
here's the questions: also if there is something else you know just from experience please feel free to just tell me:
1- when touching up roots do i have to re-bleach my hair or just use toner? i have heard you have to be careful to not mess up your hair thats already bleached so please someone explain this to me in DETAIL.
2- What developer should i use when first bleaching my hair my hair in REAL life is like dirty blonde with red tints kinda. i am NOT using a 40 i was thinking 30 or 20 so please let me know.
3- how long should i leave the bleach on for? i know i have to bleach it at least 2-3 times. just let me know how long.
4-what Toners do people like? And How long should i leave the toner one for? i have heard anything from 20 minutes to one hour?!!!
i really like Clairols Color: #323 Extra Light Platinum and Color: #301 White Beige. Can i Mix them together? ANy suggestions would be great , and if you have any BLONDE shampoos and conditioners you recommend tha'd be great too! thanks!
I know this is a lot of stuff i want to know but i REALLY wanna do this ASAP. I will not do this unless i know for sure what i am doing so anyone that has any knowledge feel free to tell me!!
