This summer I plan on hosting a "tea" for some close friends and family. I wanted it to feel special without being stuffy, but I wanted to still keep the spirit of hosting a tea. I have never hosted a tea before, and am particularly nervous because this is such a large number of people. This event will be hosted outdoors in the middle of the summer. So I have decided to serve iced tea and lemonade for the non-tea drinkers. However I am not sure how to set this up. Should it be "buffet" style or "family" style? Are those even proper to use for a tea? Do I still need fine china, or can I simple use iced tea glasses? Do I still use cloth napkins? Basically, I have no idea what I'm doing.
