How do you think that this would affect politics and how campaigns are run?

I know that this will never happen, but, what if the rules for Presidential campaigns changed so that when someone is running they do not have a Vice Presidential running mate. What would happen is, of the two candidates, whoever loses is the Vice President.

Do you think that would change how campaigns are run?

Would there be less or more animosity?
