How do you think Al Qaeda militants will respond to Bin Laden's killing?

The answer depends on whether Al Qaeda has a leader with enough gravitas and charisma to take and maintain control of the organization. In all likelihood though, I think the group will disintegrate as an international organization and we'll only hear from them in the future as a local organizations, i.e. Al Qaeda of Iraq or Al Qaeda of Yemen.

First off, its not bin Laden, its either Osama, or Osama bin Laden, or his full name Osama bin Mohammed bin Awad bin Laden. Bin means son of, bin Laden, is just son of laden. And that could be referring to any of Laden's other sons.
Anyways, no, they won't leave it "just like that". There will be attacks, escalations. Even the Taliban have made statements that if we kill Osama, that they will escalate their attacks. Not that you can take them for their word.
We killed one of their main leaders, they won't just sit back and laugh it off. They found THOUSANDS of files at the compound, many of them planned attacks.

They'll probably try something, but I think Al Qaeda has lost it's momentum, if you're following the news you'll see where some of Al Qaeda's top leaders are turning themselves in to Saudi authorities in Saudi Arabia.

I do not think anyone actually knows but there will be some sort of reaction or attempt(s) so the security staff need tobe on there toes for quite a while yet. The terrorist only has to get lucky once. In the case of 9/11 he got lucky three times. That was the most successful terrorist attack ever and will be studied at security forces training schools for years to come.
I agree that it was perhaps a pyrrhic success but success it was

like any gang of thugs, I think their first response may be to try and retaliate.
that's probably what the Obama administration and the military are working on right now.
