Ok, so there's this girl that I think looks cute but I'm not in any of her classes ( and I was in her class in 8th grade only, but I'm in 10th grade now). So, I was wondering if anyone could give me any ideas of how to just go up to a girl that I haven't talked to in like two years, and start talking to her without it sounding weird. Example: It seems kind of weird if we walk past each other, and for me to say : Hey, why is it so hot today.
Example: It wouldn't seem as weird for me to be standing next to her in line at lunch and say: Hey, weren't you in my 8th grade (subject) class ?
The problem is that I don't know how to approach her, but I know of things to talk about once I start talking to her. The idea of just walking up to her and talking to her seems kind of strange, so I was just hoping for any extra ideas on ways for approaching people who you've never known/barely talked to in order to get to know them. Thanks everyone
Btw- I don't know any of her friends, so I can't talk to her friends, and then talk to her if she's standing near them, and none of my friends know her friends.
