Suppose an apparatus has H2 at 0.500 atm (200 L) in the left vessel separated from O2 at 1.00 atm (1.00 L) in the other vessel. The valve in between the vessels is then opened. If H2 and O2 react to give H2O when the temperature is fixed at 533 K, what substances remain and what are their partial pressures after the reaction? My teacher said you have to use the Ideal Gas Law and limiting reactant. Please show how to do it and explain every step. Thanks!
