How do you sketch a cubic function with a negative sign outside the bracket?

I am told to sketch the following cubic function:

Y= -(x+2)^3

Would just change the sign inside the bracket to make it Y= (-x-2)^3

Thank you for the information in advance, please be fairly explanatory.
