How do you set off alarm bells on someones firewall, like a false alarm as a joke.?

I got my friends ip address, and as a joke i want to make it look like someone's trying to hack him.
I don't want to do anything damaging or malicious, just as a joke i want to make his firewall show that he's under hack attack.
I'm going to let him know it was just me afterwards
