how do you see someone else's conversation in a pogo chat room?

my friends boyfriend broke into our chat room with out us seeing him while playing gin on pogo. we were in a private password protected room. i would like to know how he did this, without us being able to see him. it did mess up the display on both of our screens. i would also like to know how to prevent him from a repeating this stunt.
