How do you save sounds that people send you in messages on the t-mobile G2 with google?

I currently got the tmobile g2 with google & I really love the fun but im still trying 2 figure it out. I get alot of messages with attached sounds or songs & I would like 2 save them on my phone but I just dont know how.
