How do you save a "write protected" JPEG?

I've sent a client a JPEG of artwork that we have designed for them. They can't seem to save the file as it says the image is 'write protected'. Have I saved the file wrong? I have bought the istock image so I haven't copied anything from anywhere. Any help is appreciated. Thanks
