How do you reset the windshield wipers for a 1997 4x4 Chevy Tahoe?

Recently, I installed a brand new windshield wiper motor for a 1997 4x4 Chevy Tahoe. Currently, the wipers sit 2/3 up on the windshield and I was needing to know how to reset or place them at the base of the hood of the truck at the proper resting position. Any insight will be greatly appreciated.
