How do you replace the heater blower motor on a 2001 Chevy Prizm?

When I turn the heater fan on, it makes a lot of noise. I think the blower motor may need to be cleaned or replaced. The car was parked under trees, and the area outside the car by the wipers is all full of dirt. I'm thinking the dirt got into the fan.
