how do you replace the battery in gameboy color game cartidges?

he means to replace the batteries that save the game and other stuff.

I dont think you can, nintendo made those carts so well. your best bet is to just buy the game again at a used game store. i suggest you try game crazy because i think gamestop has stopped accepting games older than game boy advance.
 
Its not in the game cartridge. Its in the game boy color itself. You take the back off (towards the bottom of it) and just put new AA batteries in it.
