How do you remove a muffler on a Mazda B2600?

if your replacing the muffler the easiest way is to cut it with a sawzall with a metal cutting blade close to the joint in the pipe then collapse the leftover chunk of pipe that's inside other pipe. if nessesary cut it length wise from the inside.

Easy, chop it off, burn it off, one or the other. Then either have someone weld (or clamp.. but not recomended) it back on there.. or get a cat back exhaust for it, or have a custom one made

if it is the original exhaust you will need to replace it from the cat, when you get the new one you can get it in pieces and after that you can just replace the muffler if needed. You can try to cut the old one out but usually you need to buy other conversion pipes to get it to fit and shortly after the other pipes crap out and you got to replace them anyway. do it once from the cat back and be done with it.
