I don't know how different the different type of lighters are, but I cannot get the defective lighter removed from my 2004 Liberty. I can unhook the wires, but the actual lighter unit will not come out. I have tried everything and it's driving me crazy. WIll be an easy job if I can get it out. I already have a replacement lighter, the fuses are all good, etc.
