Right not in the United States, the unemployment rate is over 10%. While some states have double digits (like Michigan and California), other states are in the singe digits (like Wyoming and North Dakota). With the economy being in a difficult situation at the moment, there are some Americans who complain about their jobs and wish that they had a better job that suited their interest. This is usually not possible because when you find a new job, you are dealing with lots of applicants who want the same job that you are applying for.
When someone you know is complaining about their job situation, how do you react and what would you say to them about their situation when they complain about the work environment that they are working in?
I am currently in job transition and looking for work oppotunities and when I hear someone complain about their job, I want to say to them "you should be greatful that you have a job that provides you income and be fortunate you are not at the unemployment office looking for work. Right now, the unemployment rate is very high and unless you have a recession proof job, there is no guarentee that you will have a job tomorrow."
