How do you put pictures onto PS3 from flash drive?

I put pictures on my flash drive so i could put it on my ps3. When I go to put it on, nothing there. I even clicked display all and nothings there. What happen and how do I get them on there.
Somebody said I might have to save it under something special. I don't know. I just need help xD
