How do you pronounce the name of the Dutch soccer/football team Ajax?

Do you pronounce it as it appears in English, like Ay-jacks, or do you say it like I-Yaks? Something totally different?

'EYE AXE' is the correct pronunciation.

The famous football commentator Brian Moore pronounced it as 'AY-JACKS' throughout the 1972 European Cup Final, but that's wrong.
