Well, I could tell you how people say it, but that means nothing. You want to know how dogs hear it. So, this is what you have to do. Take a fork. And a plate. Now, gently, touch the fork to the plate and slowly scrape it. That sound, right there, of the fork against the plate-- that is the sound every freaking dog in America thinks is the sound of his or her name. Try it. If you own a dog, just try it. Doesn't even have to be food on the plate, but your dog will come RUNNING towards you at full speed even if he or she is two floors away. Try it.

But anyway, it's pronounced Figh Dough. (Figh as in Fight. Dough as in money.)
