This is a small matter but as I am a collector and sometimes I do trade-in of my Nintendo DS games, some store just drop my trade in value over a rusted metal staple on the manual booklet, there are times when they even refuse the trade-in altogether because of the rust.
Now my REAL question is there any way to PREVENT the metal from rusting? Will putting the booklet or the whole game casing in a *air-tight bag/ziplock* do the trick?
