I understand the theory behind it, two swung quavers to be played like a triplet minus the middle or a dotted quaver and a semi quaver, however I have been advised that to count it exactly like that and play it exactly like that would make it sound too still and technical. My music teacher advised me to instead of counting numbers to count with two words but I forgot what they were. I believe it started with a D. ):
You know like how you used to be taught crotchets are 'ta' and quavers are 'ti'? Something along those lines. Anyone know? If not any advice on playing swung quavers?
