How do you paint glazed ceramic tiles?

There are paints that will do what you want, however I would scuff the tiles with a sanding disk so that you have a "key" for the paint to adhere to . Painting glossy surfaces will overtime be peeled of with finger nails.
Talk with your local paint shop professional as well.

I am remodeling a home and the bathroom is really dated. I am on a very tight budget, so I was trying to figure out cheaper ways to update it. I have the 4 inch glazed tiles on the wall that I want to paint white. How do I go about doing this? Can I even paint them? Any tips would be appreciated!
