I've got an older model but I may still be able to help you...Pop the bonnet switch on the right side of the driver's column then put your hand under the bonnet and stretch your fingers where the badge is, there is a lil switch actually under the bonnet that needs just a gentle push to the left, then it should lift up.
I don't know why they make it so difficult, I had to call the recovery team out when my battery went dead and I had to open the bonnet for them!
