how do you measure the center of one hole to another hole on a part.?

Im trying to figure out how u get the measurements of the distance from one hole to another hole on a part.

measure the back side of one hole to the front of the other, of vice versa, you can make yourself crazy trying to find the center if you wish but the measurement is more accurate my way, unless there different size holes then you have to find the center.

measure from the center of the circle not the sides

if the holes are the same size you can measure from the same side of on hole to the same side of the other hole and that is the centre to centre distance. i don't think it will work on different size holes. if you measure outside of hole to outside of hole then inside of hole to inside of hole and add those numbers together then divide by two that will give you the centre to centre distance for different size and same size holes
