how do you make the tiling go away for background img for html?

i dont want to stretch the picture because it makes it pixely and not very clean looking. so i need to know how to make the bg img fit the screen.

In your CSS:

body { background: #fff url(pic.jpg) no-repeat; }

Note that there is no easy way to dynamically size a picture background. The best you can do is fix the size of your site to be the size of the picture.
