I have recently purchased the Sony DAV-DZ170 5.1 speakers, and they sound great for DVD, Blu-Ray and regular television. I just realized, however, that though I can play DVD and Blu-Ray through them on my PS3, no games will play. I have tried Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, NBA 2K11 Demo, and Smackdown Vs. Raw 2011 with no luck. Anyone know what settings I need to use to make Blu-Ray/DVD and games work with these speakers?
My set-up is like this:
I have my PS3 attached to my HDTV through a HDMI cable. Then I have a digital optical cable going from my HDTV to my Sony surround sound receiver (in order to play everything I have hooked up to my HDTV through the speakers).
