video editing software, what brand are you using?
*that is just for video capturing I think.
you will then need to take the avi file it produces and place that in an actual video editing software program, such as Adobe Premiere https://www.adobe.com/cfusion/tdrc/index.cfm?product=premiere%5Fpro
(thats the trial version) or whatever program you would prefer, if on a mac then try Final Cut editing software.
Then once you have the video in the program you can look at filters on both, and apply them for time durations etc.
Google tutorials on it, and read the help sections from the software its a pretty easy trick.
