How do you make a Photo lighter?

I have some pictures that are dark. Are there any websites where you can sign-up & edit the pic? INCLUDING making it lighter? Like: allmymagic.com About that, i've tried making it lighter. It workered!=] But the bad part is, that, it wont let me re-copy the new one thats light.

Any websites NO downloads?
Please? I really need help! PLEASE!
