how do you make a curved solid color photo shoot background?

When professionals do a photo shoot for a magazine they use a solid colored background that has a curve from the back wall to the ground sorta like a skateboard ramp. what material is this? how do they make the perfect curve.

when the photos are taken using this it is a seamless background that almost looks like a person is standing in an endless space of solid color.

if you could tell me how to make this or give me a link that would be awesome.
 
to get the look off standing in space or whatever, you need a material thats not shiny, like a matte material, so the light wont show up on the material. i just went to a material shop ( lyncraft, spotlight) and got some black material and some white, you dont need to spend a whole heap of money on it,

but to get the right look you will need the right exposure aswell.
