How do you let turtles live in an outdoor pond?

I have an outdoor plastic pond that's in the ground. I have 2 turtles that have out grown their aqarium inside. I know they like to come out of the water sometimes and I had a plastic mound in the aqarium . But now they are in the pond outside I can't figure out how to get them out of the water without them escaping off the side.

I'll take any suggestions! THANKS
