How do you know you want to be a lawyer?

my family always tells me i would make a wonderful lawyer because im good at getting what i want and arguing. but i hate government, im in ap gov right now and am bored to tears, but i dont know what else to be. im smart in school but i have no common sense and i dont really like 1 subject, i actually dont like any, im just good at getting good grades without having to study
