...relationship? As much as people don't think, there really are people out there that go there whole life without being in a relationship. I am afraid, and always have been that I am that type of person. I have never touched a girl, or took a girl out on a date I would consider romantic. I have always viewed everything as friendship because I am soo scared to go any further 
. Even if a girl likes me, and even is she asks me out, I still shy away. I would define myself as emotionally immature, but some people never grow out of this. I was in Italy several years ago, and bought a silver necklace to safe keep until I found my first girlfriend. It has been sitting in my closet for years, and I don't know how to change my behavior to fix this, or if I even can.
My goal in life is to become a doctor, and I have the grades. But I believe one of the most important aspects of this career is to be emotionally stable, and right now I am not that way. I am very scared that I may never change, and never get to experience what it's like to spend your life with the opposite sex.
