How do you know if you and your girlfriend are ready for sex?

Ok me and my girl friens have been dating for six months now and we have done everything but IT and we are jus tas close as we can get.... we are completly in love should we take it to the next level... we have talked about it many times before we just dont want anything bad to happen
 
just wear condoms and if you are really paranoid wear two. even if she takes the pill always wear a condom just in case
 
Same with here bro. We could be twins. 6 months for me too but we don't know if we want to because we don't want anything to happen that might ruin it.
 
Well based on your use of English I would say you are still to young. Wait until you are older and your hormones aren't raging.
 
How old are you two? Is she on birth control? Have you both gone in for an STD check? Will you be able to have the time and place to actually enjoy one another? Are you both virgins? Are you aware that once you add sex to the mix, it makes things more difficult if you aren't careful?

Research birth control. Ideally she should be on the pill and you should use a condom.

In the end, the decision has to be based on mutual respect and love.
 
If the two of you have to talk about doing it, then you are not ready. But I know that you will not listen to me. But just make sure that you wear protection because bad things can happen and it only takes one time.
