how do you install RPM Gauge to 2002 Harley Davidson Fatboy?

my husband's got a 2002 Harley Fatboy. He's got RPM Gauge from his friend who originally bought for his own Harley, but he gave it to my husband. but he lost his installation document. Now my husband has no idea how to hook up the RPM Guage without instruction manual. Does anyone who has done this and got a quick help????
