how do you insert a game into the psp?

when ever i just drop the game into the slot it never appears i try a lot of different ways.
 
did you take the game out of the plastic UMD case? if you did that is why it is not working it must stay in those things. if you did'nt then I am not sure why it isn't working you may be having a system problem --- take it to a gamestop ---they will be ble to tell you...Good luck
