How do you import contacts from sims card to Motorola Cliq?

I just changed my phone from a razor to a motorola cliq. I saved all of my contacts to my sims card on my razor and had it inserted into my cliq, thinking my contacts would automatically pop up... but that wasn't the case. How do I get my contacts to import?
