How do you hook up pc to tv with only component and hdmi inputs on the tv?

I bought a vga to component cable from amazon to hook up my pc to my tv and of course that didn't work and my tv said "no signal." I have a 1080 P HDTV. How the heck can I hook up my pc to my tv with only component and hdmi inputs on my tv?

Please, please, please help if you know exactly how to get this to work. Recommend specific brands of components or converters if necessary.
